Hello to October.  Although it is marginally cooler here, it still doesn't feel like Fall.  You'll get a slight whiff of it some mornings, but that goes away.  Thankfully(?), Tap still needs air conditioning every now and again to cool him down, so I can slip on a hoodie or sweatshirt and pretend.

We've got the AC on again but it's not doing much. It's not quite hot enough to kick in on but that humidity is about to do me in.
Both those choices remind me of my dad's dementia and are scary to me. I don't even like it when I remember dreams anymore because it makes me wonder if I'll always be able to distinguish reality.

Went to Atlanta for a postponed Mother's Day day today.   First stop:  H Mart .  Completely overwhelming.  We stuck to pre-packaged things, so as not to leave fresh and/or frozen things in my car.  Interesting along the way: and Now, I'm not trying to be culturally insensitive, but, no thanks. Next: a  rotating sushi  bar.*  Delicious.  I tried to keep myself in check, as Hannah was paying.  Let's just say I could have eaten much more. Then back to her apartment to watch "Barbie."  She had even bought special drinks. Another special day. *The sushi rotated, not the building.

 You live in a little apartment in the center of town OR a little cabin in a secluded forest... I'll go with a cabin.  I do like a nice apartment, but a cozy little place with a fire?  No worries about neighbors?  Win. It's rained here all day.  Never particularly hard, but quite steady.  There were 6 or 8 minutes of sun at Noon, then right back to the rain.  There are spotty power outages and trees down, but not right here.  There weren't even that many branches down in the yard.
