Accommodations

 You live in a little apartment in the center of town

OR

a little cabin in a secluded forest...

I'll go with a cabin.  I do like a nice apartment, but a cozy little place with a fire?  No worries about neighbors?  Win.

It's rained here all day.  Never particularly hard, but quite steady.  There were 6 or 8 minutes of sun at Noon, then right back to the rain.  There are spotty power outages and trees down, but not right here.  There weren't even that many branches down in the yard.

Isaias is still coming down on us pretty hard here in the mid-Atlantic. I'm loving it and trying not to think of the humidity we're going to have when that sun comes back out again. I do live in the middle of the woods and I can tell you it's no fun. Bugs, critters and trees that make a mess of everything. I'd move to an apartment in the city in a heartbeat but I'd have to drug and then tie up The Mister to do so.

Went to Atlanta for a postponed Mother's Day day today.   First stop:  H Mart .  Completely overwhelming.  We stuck to pre-packaged things, so as not to leave fresh and/or frozen things in my car.  Interesting along the way: and Now, I'm not trying to be culturally insensitive, but, no thanks. Next: a  rotating sushi  bar.*  Delicious.  I tried to keep myself in check, as Hannah was paying.  Let's just say I could have eaten much more. Then back to her apartment to watch "Barbie."  She had even bought special drinks. Another special day. *The sushi rotated, not the building.
