The new Herrschners arrived yesterday, and made me immediately sad.  It's laying here on the coffee table, teasing me.  Pretty colors on the cover, but I can't order anything.  Stupid fingers.

I regularly attend the TCM Noir Alley watch party on Blue Sky and half the conversation is always about the hats the actors are wearing. This week did not disappoint. Joanne Dru was wearing some real show stoppers.

Things like this fascinate me Frankly, I  don't see the name of any pet I've ever had on either map.  I'll have to lobby for "Tap," "Barrymore" and "Zen" next year. I'm disappointed in Tennessee for its lack of creativity.

I made some banana bread last night.  Well banana/ blueberry bread, as that's the baby food I had.  Also, shout out to my fellow banana baby food lovers.  (You know who you are!)  I went to bed before it was finished baking, so there was a nice morning "surprise" today. Just dropping in to brag on myself.
