I Hate It When This Happens

My fingernails have been looking really good the past several weeks.  They've been a great length to polish, and I've just been tickled with them.

You know where I'm headed, don't you?

Broke the nail on the left index finger putting stuff in the recycling bin this morning.  It made me so mad, as it meant all the others were going to have to be cut, too, so that they could all resume growing together.
AARRGGHH!

I was looking so cute!

I had a comment and lost it. Trying again.

I have never had my nails be all the same length in my whole life! I always have at least one long one (getting ready to break) and a couple real short ones that broke last week. I think you are a nail perfectionist! You could have just let that one guy be a little short for awhile.

But it is a great color.

My nails are always short because a) they break easily, and b) when they get longer, they curl back into themselves (gross). But I love to polish them, and it's so aggravating when something messes it up! I feel your pain. Sigh.

You could have a tip put on that one. But, I'm probably too late with my comment. I bet you already clipped them short. (I would have. I'm OCD that way.)

::chiming in late, as usual:: My nails are soft, thin, brittle, and small, but during the summer months they achieve a bit of length. Not as much as your beautiful nails, but some. Except for the flipping-the-bird finger on both hands; they started splitting several years ago, and I CANNOT grow them past that. So I ignore the non-matching middle finger and polish the other eight.

If you've ever rented a movie on Amazon Prime, you know you have 48 hours in which to watch it.  (By the way, why do we "watch"...
