I wish for a Newfoundland.

They start out adorable and stay wonderful.

They come in black or brown.

They will play with you in the snow.

If you have a pony, they can help you out there.

I would name my Newfoundland Wilson.

I'm a cat person myself but those guys are adorable. However, I don't think I could afford the food bill. :)

Newfies are the best! And don't forget Landseers - black and white - and the ones that went along with Lewis and Clark.

Wilson would be a great name. Ours was Dreyfus. If I got another, it would be Snuffleuphagus- Snuggie for short.

Elder Son always wanted a Newfie. Our first dog may have been part Newfie; good sized, dark, webbed feet. Also, I had a colleague with 2 Newfies. He said they loved to sit on either side of his wife on the couch and snuggle her.

I made some banana bread last night.  Well banana/ blueberry bread, as that's the baby food I had.  Also, shout out to my fellow banana baby food lovers.  (You know who you are!)  I went to bed before it was finished baking, so there was a nice morning "surprise" today. Just dropping in to brag on myself.
