RHD

I have had a string of awful days of late.  No misery, though, even close to losing Rupert yesterday.

As with Erin a few weeks ago, it was sudden. He hung on for a rushed trip to the vet, but let go there.

He was a wonderful, sweet gentleman.  This house is noticeably very empty today.

I am so sorry for these losses. I know how this hurts and I hope you can be very kind to yourself for a while. This is hard, no way around it. Just remember you gave both Erin and Rupert a good life.

Oh, Rupert. This is just more than anyone should have to bear. I'm glad he didn't suffer, though. Take care. They know they are loved, and will keep watch. xoxo

I'm so very sorry to read this. I hope time helps you to remember your good times with him and not the parting.
