The weather isn't saying much about it, but the speed with which it is starting to get dark here says that Fall is nigh. Thank goodness.

I love October evenings. We've had rain, storms and cold recently. IM NOT READY. IM also not ready for the Cubs to be done. They must win tonight. I have to hurry home from the barn where I said I'd do an extra class hoping the Cubs would win outright...not so. I'll miss the first innings, but that may be good luck! I have to hurry slowly though. The deer are coming into rut and I go below the speed limit and watch for them intently!
