Mid-thunderstorm in Athens --- I keep getting ALERTS! on my phone about streets being flooded and seeking shelter IMMEDIATELY.  You should be aware and alert in bad weather, but the County Typist might need to take it down a notch.

I have been trying very hard to push through the discomfort in my fingers, making myself knit or color or cross-stitch daily.  It's only caused more discomfort, frankly.  Cross-stitching is the absolute worse.  Crocheting is extra uncomfortable.  Not craft-related, but putting earrings on is a flippin' nightmare.

One of the things I'm knitting is a garter stitch snood.  Does anyone else run into this problem: "Oh, it's only garter --- this will go by in a flash,"  then get soooooo bored with nothing but garter?  The same thing sometimes happens with stockinette, but not nearly as often.
Mine is black and grays.

I'm sorry for the hand pain--No, I don't get bored with garter--I go into autopilot and my fingers fly while my mind can drift! lol

All knitting bores me and that's why I have a million projects going at once. I do a little here and a little there and stop as soon as my mind starts screaming at me. My goal is to always put a project down while I'm still happy working on it. If I don't, I'll never pick it up again.
