Promise Kept

Here's the frame at work:

This is one of my favorite Animals-on-Couches yet.  It's so quiet and soft.

I got out today to run a couple of errands, and traffic was awful.  Like, students are back awful.  This town has been in disarray for so long: tearing up streets, rerouting cars, tearing up the rerouted.  Not to mention all the houses and apartment complexes going up in what seems every empty space that can be found.  There honestly aren't that many ways to get around this town, and they are all choked right now.

I just did two days of rush hour Wash DC Beltway traffic and I had no idea that the traffic has gotten so much worse. I did that daily commute for 20 years and it was nowhere as bad as it is now. They keep building and building and never think that the roads can't handle the added commuters. It's a nightmare. I'm glad I'm retired. I don't know how those folks do it. They are just sitting in their cars going nowhere for hours.

I do not enjoy the added traffic in a more heavily populated area! Give me my old country roads! The framed pic is very restful which is interesting because the Jag us a predator!
