This arrived today.
Now, I realize it's a form card. Still, someone along the way, a person had to put mine and Maddie's names there. So I appreciated the effort.

I appreciate the thought when I get cards like that after a loss but it always opens a floodgate of grief that I’m usually just closing the door on. The one from the vet always kills me. I’ve got a stack of them here that I can’t even open.
