Oooooh, look how near The End of The Blue is! There is still much, much backstitching to be done. My current plan is to set this aside for a little bit, coming back to it with fresh eyes.

So close! I have to take a break from projects from time to time no matter how close I am to finishing. If they don't spark joy when I pick them up I know we need a break.
Uh oh. I might have to visit that website ...
I usually push through when I am that close to the finish-even though I am usually over with a project in my mind before I am really done! lol The shoe design is really clever!
