A Look

At the current state of cross-stitch here.

This is one of those pieces that looks better from a distance.  For instance, I couldn't appreciate the tan on the ladybug's back when I was stitching, but a couple of feet away, and I see that it's a reflection of light.  Also, the center of the daisy doesn't look two-toned up close.

I like the 3-D look of the petals, but am tiring of all the white.  There's still some more stem to do;  greens may be my respite.

That is so lovely! It really does look 3D. All those color changes must be a pain but so worth it.
