Even Logic Fails to Help

What is this?  Really.  What is this?

Is it a checkerboard?  If so, I can't figure out a way to fill in enough black squares to make it 64.

Is it a picnic cloth?  What does that have to do with Christmas?  Part of a striped scarf?  A wrapping paper* design?  A quilt?  For the life of me, I don't know what it is and why it's part of the Advent project.

Cracker-wise, last night was an orange crown and a tiny Rubik's Cube.
I have never had any luck at all with a Rubik's Cube, so this will remain cute and unturned.

This morning, another orange crown, and a little bag tag.
(Forgive the paper towel;  I was having an apple fritter.)

Tonight, a pretty shade of blue crown, and a ring toss game.  I've always loved little games --- remember the round ones where you had to roll the BBs into the holes?  Like those.  Loved them.

*I didn't mention it yesterday, but another proof of Kim's and my twinitude is that we both had jobs as gift wrappers.  So there's that.

You've got some really cool things coming out of those crackers. The last time I cracked any we only had paper things in them.
