Tomorrow is the oral surgeon's second shot at putting in a bloody abutment. (The abutment itself won't be bloody... You know what I mean.) I am steeling myself for the agony that is one set of the anesthetic injections. Already having to pay for all this twice, I'm punting on having myself knocked out. Thirty, forty-five seconds, maybe? Ouch. I feel your pain. I had a root canal last year and the worst part was the anesthetic. The new stuff the dentists use contains a form of epinephrine which I react to badly it seems. I suffered it out to get it over with but now I am terrified of anymore dental work. Good luck today. Sending positive vibes...

I'm so sorry--I do dislike dental work just because of the 'numbing' that hurts like crazy! Ask for numbing jell and let it work for 10 mins before they inject you--thanks a huge difference!
