The Date

 Today is my daughter's birthday, but her birthday has been fraught since she turned 6 ten days after her father died.  Most years, she doesn't want to do anything.  This year is one of those.  Still:

So so tough to lose a parent as a child..Is there anything crueler? I'm sorry she doesnt celebrate her birthday, but it that's her true wish, then so be it. Im afraid of hamsters
