I've been trying to cull through things around the house lately. Tucked into the back corner of a closet was this:
This bag is from the long-gone knit shop that my mother used to knit for. It was a charming little place, and I was sorry to see it go. But there is this to remind me of it, and of all those pleated skirts Mama made. SO many pleated skirts. Handknit pleated skirts were apparently the way to go in Nashville for a while.

I have a few of those ornament magazines. i used to love them but I never got around to making anything from them. I think I still have a few around here somewhere.
