Sea sea sea sea sea
I lived 35 years in Los Angeles and I miss the ocean every day. Sea it is.
Give me the ocean every day. My husband is staring to look toward retirement and we are exploring our options for living next to the ocean. If I have to pick a second place, I'd go with the lake. There are plenty of beautiful (and big) lakes. I grew up near Lake Michigan and it is lovely.
Not entering the contest but i love the ocean, and since we recently got a Jeep this handicap mama can once again go on the ocean beaches without trying to walk them, but I would pick a lake if I didn't live near enough to the ocean
I'll say lake since I grew up spending summers at a lake in VT. I really prefer the mountains, so river or lake. Just being near water is so soothing. Having said all that, I do love to walk on the beach and hunt for shells (but I can't sun any more).
Lake lake lake! we are all so different! I love being able to see across a lake. Lake Michigan is too much like an ocean. Little lakes are my favorite!
Hmmm... Tough call. I love the fresh unsalted water of a lake- the calm, and hopefully mountains around it. But I love finding sea shells, the sound of the waves, seeing dolphins
Continued... I think my very favorite would be a sweet water lagoon- which is a great combo of sea and lake but it wasn't an option. I'd say sea of its Greek. Lake if it's Swiss of western US...
TWINISM!
Lucky you. I'm looking for an oceanside for my next house to be on.
I'm looking for places near an ocean, too. The trouble with Southern beaches is that so many of them are in hurricane lanes.
Sometimes, I will find a YouTube video of the surf and play it over and over, just to hear the sounds.
I have a big bowl of shells just outside my bedroom. It's one of the last things I see before going to sleep, and one of the first I see when the new day starts.
I suspected you would say lake!
I've never seen any dolphins, but I do love to pick up shells.
That you know enough about the world to have specific destinations to discuss is remarkable.
We live on a lake. Question answered. (Although I often have a yearning to hear seagulls. I may need to move to the North Shore of Lake Superior.)
