It's been very quiet around here today.  Even the animals seem to be trying to catch up on sleep:

Eel skin today.  Either the skin for the boots came from different eels, or the dye lots were not the same.  There is a color difference here.

Do any of you use a WPI tool?  Is it helpful enough to justify my getting one?

What a sleepy pup! I'm not a spinner so personally, no I don't use a WPI, but I've heard from both the Knit Girllls and Aimee at Knitting in Circles that they like theirs...

Things like this fascinate me Frankly, I  don't see the name of any pet I've ever had on either map.  I'll have to lobby for "Tap," "Barrymore" and "Zen" next year. I'm disappointed in Tennessee for its lack of creativity.

I made some banana bread last night.  Well banana/ blueberry bread, as that's the baby food I had.  Also, shout out to my fellow banana baby food lovers.  (You know who you are!)  I went to bed before it was finished baking, so there was a nice morning "surprise" today. Just dropping in to brag on myself.
