My initial stack of postcards to voters had dwindled to near nothing (at the top), but yesterday's mail replenished my supply:
Break out the gel pens!
On the TNT front, there hasn't been as much accomplished as I had hoped.
Holding the hoop and working on it, the foxes are clear to me. In the photo, though, it scarcely looks like anything.
On the animal front, an octopus is a creature to be feared, amazed by, and, at least in my case, sort of repelled/fascinated by. And according to this article, an octopus can be a bully and a jerk. They are stunningly intelligent. I haven't seen "My Octopus Teacher,"* but did read a wonderful book called The Soul of an Octopus. It's interesting and funny and educational.
*Heard it is emotionally wrenching.

I think the fox piece looks great (I love foxes--need to get out my fall fox embroidery hoops).
I just got notified by text that my ballot is one the way! Now I need to do some homework trying to figure out who on that long town council list I would like to see elected. It's always so confusing since they all say pretty much the same thing in their little "blurbs".
I loved the Octopus My Teacher!!!!! On a lot of levels-you will laugh and cry and learn a lot along the way. Even if I can't see the 'fox' yet, I love the colors!
Have you read Remarkably Bright Creatures? One of the main characters is a giant Pacific octopus that likes to wander around the aquarium building at night. It is a lovely story.
