I had to move my desk out of the den to make room for the Christmas tree, but it hasn't gone undecorated.
And the interloper that took over the desk's spot?
What is it about the tree going up that makes it really, truly Christmas?

I know at least in our house, the tree being up and decorated is the last part - the piece de resistance - of Christmas decorations, so that might have something to do with it?
