Life has been turmoil this week.  Plumbing problems that had me calling a septic service, only to be told it needed to be tended to by a plumber.  My bank account/debit card was hacked again --- 3 times in a month.  Trip to the bank to try to get things under control, and hopefully they are.  All that's left is for me to have all the adrenaline and worry and stress to dump out, and to catch up on sleep.

Waiting for the service guys, then waiting to turn water on and off and on while they were here, I did a lot of a cross-stitch piece.

Only "You" and the rest of the border to go.

I got gas yesterday, and the amount on the pump from the person before me was $148.39.  OUCH.  I realize it was probably a big van or truck, but still --- OUCH.

The only food you are allowed to eat will be picked by a 3-year-old

OR

The only films and TV you are allowed to see will be picked by a clergyman.

Finally, a finished cross-stitch piece.  Well, finished except for ironing.

Santa got back.

Went to Atlanta for a postponed Mother's Day day today.   First stop:  H Mart .  Completely overwhelming.  We stuck to pre-packaged things, so as not to leave fresh and/or frozen things in my car.  Interesting along the way: and Now, I'm not trying to be culturally insensitive, but, no thanks. Next: a  rotating sushi  bar.*  Delicious.  I tried to keep myself in check, as Hannah was paying.  Let's just say I could have eaten much more. Then back to her apartment to watch "Barbie."  She had even bought special drinks. Another special day. *The sushi rotated, not the building.

 You live in a little apartment in the center of town OR a little cabin in a secluded forest... I'll go with a cabin.  I do like a nice apartment, but a cozy little place with a fire?  No worries about neighbors?  Win. It's rained here all day.  Never particularly hard, but quite steady.  There were 6 or 8 minutes of sun at Noon, then right back to the rain.  There are spotty power outages and trees down, but not right here.  There weren't even that many branches down in the yard.
