Editorial Comment: I thought a couple of the match-ups yesterday were among the most intriguing in all the years of this contest. (One of the pairs was actually two nominees from the same person! Bless her heart.)
If you weren't aware, yesterday's winners were Rob Lowe, David Tennant, Martin Sheen and Sofia Vergara. While I'm over the moon about the number of voters we have each day, I'm a wee bit perplexed about the lack of comments. Maybe no choice has been so difficult that anyone thought it necessary to raise a voice.
ANYWAY,

I don't know who Neil deGrasse Tyson is, but I have a tote bag that matches his vest.
Neil deGrasse Tyson is a geek-god! Sure, he was part of the group that took away Pluto's status as a planet, but he's the trifecta of smart, funny, and a snappy dresser (which has to count for something). I present to you knitters a man who would wear a highly patterned hand-knit sweater with pride... and probably on the Daily Show. In 2000 he was named the sexiest Astrophysicist alive.
Here is my favorite thing from Neil - 3 minutes that will raise the hair on your arms and make you feel part of the universe:

Neil deGrasse Tyson is, for sure, one of my "you can have anyone from history at a dinner..." people.
