The Day After

My birthday cake for this year arrived a day early.  It's siren song came from the refrigerator for many long, long hours before we could finally cut into it:


Tres Leches with fresh strawberries and real whipped cream.

I KNOW!

I always wear purple on my birthday.  This year's daywear choice (I changed into a purple turtleneck for dinner out):

I missed your birthday SO SO SOrry ! My computer got DROPPED by me...I had such limited capabilities on my phone....long week!

I LOVE YOUR CAKE. Tres leches is one of my very favorites!

Thrills are Sometimes Small

 Y'aaaall.  I got some Christmas crafting paper today and  my nails are nice and long. It's a nice day.

  • Seriously, Though
    In addition to the much-too-expensive tooth business (honestly, if I had known that one tooth was worth that, I'd have pulled some more ...
  • Knocking
     . . . on wood. Madeleine is back to her usual self.  Even eating some dry food, though still preferring bisques and other lickable things.
  • Sitting
    And waiting to get Maddie to the vet in the morning.  She's  not feeling great, but nothing like Friday.
