Unclear

We've always had Christmas stockings for our pets.  The past few years, they were initially.  Going through things this year, I found 3, but could only hang one.

Finding Maddie's "m" and Riley's "r" made me cry.  I'll admit it.

As best as I can tell, A Little Princess was written b6 Frances Hodgson Burnett, but I cannot tell it from this:
The author's name is utterly unreadable.  Either way, I haven't read this.  I was never for princess books.  Then I had a daughter, and read quite a few.*

Today I did get to therapy.  The air I put in the tire is still there.  My session was one of those where the more you talk, you realize you have more to talk about.  All these years with therapists, and there are still depths to dig.

The ghosts of Christmas Past can be very cruel this time of year.

But when you finally get to that nugget--oh that is something.

In other thoughts--is The Little Princess about an orphan? Who lives in a garrett? Because if so it isn't very princessy. I'm off to google.

Replying to myself. Yes, orphan in a garrett. Pretty treacly as I recall.

This Christmas we are all working hard to remember the joys of times past and to continue to make good memories to carry us through....

Our pets have stockings and ornaments. It's hard to go through, but the recent losses hit the hardest. This year we'll be without Pip, who truly LOVED Christmas. xoxo
