Is This the First Day of Christmas?

This is the Advent shawl so far.  Please know that the colors are shades of purple in the stripes and the palest blue on the edges and between.  These were taken by the Christmas tree, so the light was provided by dozens and dozens of little bulbs.

Today marks the halfway point.
