I get confused by that sometimes myself. I've even picked it up and knit in the wrong direction before. That's a headache to fix.
I have no idea how you even do that. Mine is always on the outside.
My daughter, whom I taught to knit, I might add, knits socks 'inside out' just like you! Too funny!
iirc, that is how Peruvvian women knit colorwork. It helps keep the floats from being too tight. In any case, you be you!
