#Chewy Influencer the First --- I Really Didn't Think This Through

Among the products Chewy.com offered for trial this month were several with Christmas-y feels.  The little Planning Voice in my head said, "Great!  These can be Christmas presents!"

Except I have to give reviews before Christmas.

Do you think Tap, Madeleine, and Riley will notice if I tape the containers back up and wrap them for Christmas morning?

Ahem.

First, Blue Buffalo Santa Snacks for Tap.

His reaction to these each time I offer him one is to snag it enthusiastically, run away with it, and hide it.  Scattered around the house are little gingerbread men and stars and trees with single, maybe two, bites out of them.  Maybe he's squirreling them away for Christmas morning himself?

Chewy.com allows me to try products in-home each month in return for honest reviews of those products.  There is never an exchange of money.

  1. So--is that a thumbs up or a thumbs down? Or a paw up or a paw down?

Not Really in My Color Wheel

10.  Red There isn't a lot of red stuff in my life.  Never has been.  I remember exactly three red tops I've had in my life, maybe a couple of skirts with red print.  My one red fashion statement has been my red cowboy boots, modeled after my Daddy's red patent leather ones with the gold toe tips.

Red just doesn't suit my coloring.  Mama could wear it.  Hannah can wear it.  It's just never been a big part of any of my color selection life.  I gravitate toward purples and blues and grays, some green.  I avoid orange at all costs.  At least red doesn't awaken that kind of loathing in me.

Guess Free Association is our best plan, then.

RED
blood
wine
Cross
Bull
blood cells
rover
white and blue
hot
wings
(HA!  "hot wings"!)
potatoes
River
Sails in the Sunset
queen
herring
handed
Riding Hood
tape
light
carpet
Scare
ant
clay
rooster
head
panda

And you?  What does red do for you?

9 days until you can submit Knitters' Hunk and Knitters' Chick nominations!

I am late to a lot of parties.  I scarcely ever go to movies, so by the time I watch a film via streaming, or borrow a DVD from Netflix, everyone's fever has come and gone.  Since I read non-fiction almost exclusively, novels that everyone else has long since read and fawned over don't often appear on my radar.  Hence,
If memory serves, Kathy's daughter talked about this book in one of her reading posts over the last few months.  Briton read it long ago, and thoroughly enjoyed it, and it is his copy that I've borrowed and am just sailing through. What an engaging read.  Most of you have probably already read it;  did you like it this much?

For Those About to Nominate. . .

NOMINATIONS ARE CLOSED.

The names of your three Knitters' Hunk and three Knitters' Chick in the comments section, if you please.  You have until 6 PM Eastern Saturday night to submit and/or change your nominees.
