If

If you leave me an answer to this week's question (by Friday), you could win this:

That's a hank of Sweet Georgia Superwash Worsted in Coastal,
the 2014 Comfy Collection from KnitPicks, and

There are 200 yards of the yarn.  Even though the pattern book is the "2014 Collection," rest assured that I bought it very recently.  There are 32 pages to color with 12 colored pencils.

The Question:
If you could become adept at one of the visual arts, which would you choose?
Photography
Painting
Sketching
Sculpting

*Subsequent weeks will further indulge my love of coloring. . .

I'll start but I've already won so I'll disqualify myself---but sketching!

I love taking photos but don't yearn to be better at it than I am (though I'm not brilliant), and I love how portable sketching and painting can be- plus you can use color... But I'd likely choose sculpture because it's so tactile. Plus, I tend to pick things that will frustrate me (!) and the variable of how the material will respond would likely do the trick!

what a great question and marvelous choices, husband fills empty hours with painting and our walls are filled with his work, he also is an excellent photographer and passed this to our son who is a professional photographer, our youngest daughter also paints beautifully. I could not draw a straight line if my life depended on it, but would choose sketching. The idea of sculpting and the hands on of it all intrigues me but sketching would be more do able to me

Photography I think!

I am okay with my photography skills, and painting seems like too much work (prep and canvas stretching and all) and sculpting is messy... so I would pick sketching. Seems like it would be a fun way to capture life!

I'm not sure I could choose between photography and sketching. I'd love to be able to do more, than doodle the same hearts and flowers but taking a beautiful photograph is appealing as well.
