We have a rather large collection of bamboo back scratchers. Walgreens used to carry them. There's one by my desk, one by my chair, one by my husband's chair, one on my side of the bed, one on his side of the bed, and at least one in the mini-mini-motorhome.
Itchy backs are not fun. Until you have a back scratcher.
Oh, my goodness, I love it. When I'm knitting with a heap of something on my lap, I always get the back itches. I dig in my knitting bag for the #8's I keep handy and VOILA, it feels so good!! I tell my husband but he just looks at me weird. So glad to know I'm not weird. HAHA
Linda, my mother --- part of the back-combing and intense use of Aqua Net generation --- would scratch her head with her needles to avoiding messing up her hair!
Oh, that's funny... I have a vast collection of long metal back-scratchers/knitting needles. I use them for that (and for scratching my head) a LOT! :)
